Quinn's Little Sister

One of these chunks is Quinn's new sister. I'm posting this now, because that means it can't fall through if it's in writing!! Still nervous based on previous disappointments, but we met them via zoom (due to covid we can't meet them in person).

They are 4 weeks old. There are 7 girls in a litter of 11 - the breeder will be helping families pick based on temperament in a few weeks. OH is getting his yellow...I will fight for my chocolate in a few years

Oh how exciting @Ashley ! Do you have a magical sense which one she'll be? Look at their little noses! What are their parents like? Are they more chunky monkeys, or more like Quinn? Have you told her? Oooh what fun...

We are hoping for the slightly darker one on the far left - but have put a lot of emphasis on Quinn's personality and choosing a pup that will jive with her, so the breeder will probably direct us to couple she thinks would be a good fit. Dad is a thick show line English lab - 85lbs and his father was also a big show boy - both a very light yellow. Mom is slightly more slender at 60lbs, but also show lines. Dad has a very distinct face that OH likes, and one of the pups already looks like him (if that is even possible at this age! haha). Both temperaments are very people oriented and cuddly. Mom is a into swimming and retrieving, but isn't overly high drive (will be interesting to see what that's like compared to Quinn).

I'm so so happy for you! After all your waiting. I probably haven't realised how lucky we were that Bear fell into our lap so easily. I hope Quinn will love her little sister.
I will need to post you the turquoise puppy harness and collar that @SwampDonkey sent me, I always planned to pass it on to the next forum puppy once Bear had outgrown it. Passing the forum hair around the world
