Anyone else have a dog who is scared of farts ? Reuben gets quite upset if he does one, he will ask to go out and then just stand there looking confused Maybe he is scared of ` following through `, funny boy xx

No worries here as I've said before the boys are very earthy and pragmatic. Rory is disgusted if I do and will walk away from me and goes and sits further away.

I don't think I've ever heard one from Carbon. Smelled, yes, but not heard. I really imagine that he thinks it's me, not him.

Jodhi used to be quite noisy and would wake herself up from the noise. Then she'd look at you with a disgusted look as if to say, "How dare you wake me up being so rude!" She was a sweet and gentle girl, but had definite ideas about the sanctity of nap and meal times.

Neo isn’t overly fussed other than looking a bit confused at times. Billie’s party trick was to ‘drop a bomb’ throw you a look and then leave the room!

I've recently been sent a small clip (by a friend)of their dog farting loudly that lasted for 22 seconds. She sounds like a drum machine dog not the friend.

Like Carbón, I have never heard any emissions from GGJ's rear end and have only rarely smelled anything. Funnily enough she was sick today, nothing much, just some clear fluid and a few remains of treats, and I realised that this is only the second time I have known this to happen, the last time being New Year's Eve 2018. So I really can't complain about her digestive system, it seems she is a GoodGirl with that, as well as everything else!
Pee Ess, she's absolutely fine, by the way, no signs at all of being poorly, I think she'd just run around too much after a large drink of water!

We often get a literal toot on standing or sitting.

Merlin sometimes does very loud and extremely noxious farts. He blithely ignores them, but they are often a warning to us that we are in for a Bad Night...

Poppy has guts of steel and the manners of a lady. If she has to, she 'passes wind' in a very genteel way, and looks pointedly at Merlin.

Chewie is a very loud non stinky farter. If he was scared of them he would be a quivering mess!

Honestly, two nights ago we were putting Rowan to bed and of course the whole family is crammed in his room. We usually listen to a mindfulness meditation with the lights off but Rowan just wanted silence that night. Let's just say that OH thought that there was a whalesong meditation playing because the dog was farting so much.

Vanilla's are silent but deadly.

Honey's are excitement farts as we call them. They only appear if she is sitting and waiting for some good food or is excited to do some play etc. But she always turns and looks down to see what just happened as noise came out. Vanilla will just look away in disgust.
