Reeva is here !

She's doing pretty well, absolutely amazing on the house training front, I've never known one be so good. No poo's in the house, and is clean and dry at night until about 6.45 :star:

She seems really happy to be in her crate/pen when necessary, we did a good job between us of arranging it behind L's work desk, Cassie's old crate with ample room for Reeva's bed and a pen attached so she doesn't need to wee/poo in there, if she needs to wee before anyone's up in the morning it's always in the pen area. She has a heavy blanket over the top to keep it cosy. It's in the centre of the house so she's in the mix!

My daughter is consistent about waiting for quiet before going to her, and waits for a sit to open the gate. She has a tiny kong in there at times!

Reeva is growing in confidence and SPEED - the heady mix of spaniel and collie coming very much to fore!!

She's adorable. I love both collies and spaniels but FOR OTHER PEOPLE. As a grand-dog? Perfect. 😂
Agreed.

My niece’s Springer, Bryn, is amazing. He’s seven years old, like Tatze.
I love taking him for a walk and watching him run and quarter the field. But NO, I wouldn’t ever get one for myself. He never sleeps during the day!

This was him yesterday. 💕

He's gorgeous he reminds me very much of one we had when I was growing up, Rufous, he lived to 14. He calmed down by then:rofl:
Helen was a handful when younger but he was older than me so I don't remember.
Reeva is a great little dog, just right for my daughter, plenty of get up and go !! But she does settle very well in her crate when Lydia is working.
She goes to the stables daily and the farm at weekends, is dry/clean at night, asks to go out in the day time, so she's doing well.
She needs to learn loose lead walking .....but I said I would not interfere .......

:mmm:

A Reeva update. Housetraining continues to go well.

Otherwise, it's fair to say the spaniel half goes round and round it circles, at speed, while collie half goes round and round in, well, bigger circles

Definitely not a puppy for the faint hearted, she's rarely still :)

Here she is taking the air from the tractor
