I had a friend visit from Scotland. We were happily talking one evening, unaware that Gemma was gradually chewing through the handbag!!! I think it better they are crocopups than handbag destroyers and other things they can chew and destroy!

If it's any consolation , although I remember it vividly, I can hardly believe that Cassie ever did that. It's like a complete metamorphosis. She's so incredibly gentle with her mouth now.

All you saying that "Labradors are easy/easier" let me say, OK, easier than Reeva's breed mix but not easy dogs. I don't get how they got the nearly universal rep as first-timer family dogs. Most of us here know better (looking at you @Natalie ) but yeesh, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Carbon is 10x the handful as either of my Rotties and I didn't even have him as a puppy. AND as Labs go, he's pretty chill. But Rotties...DEFINITELY an easier breed.
