RIP Nugget

Our good friends had to put their black lab to sleep today at 11am. We all cried so much but they gave him such a wonderful life. He had leg and elbow issues from a puppy and they spent an absolute fortune but it ensured he was pain free most of the time. Their oldest son was 5 when they got him and wanted to call him 'Chicken Nugget' after his favourite food but they convinced him to shorten it to just 'Nugget'.

Steve and I puppy sat him when he was just a few months old. We agreed to keep him overnight while the family had a function but when they got home the son was so distraught and missing his dog they had to call and come over and get him
