Poor poor Kipper, he's really been through it lately. (Which means so have you, so ) The probiotic idea sounds like a good one.

I keep Meg on Yudigest permanently. It has the same probiotic that was in the (very expensive) paste I got from the Vet. I've no idea if it helps her, but I am loathe to stop it as she has such problems with her sicky tum. Sicks are down to a minimum now, but not eliminated. She's never had antibiotics.

Pro-kolin enterogenic is the stuff I use when Rory's on his stomach up and downs. He also has omeprazole and buscapn.its good so I always keep some in.

Sorry for the delay @Jelinga , I missed this! He did really well at resting and taking his meds, and is now feeling a lot better. I think he’s still a little delicate at times but we’re keeping a close eye, it was a horrible virus. Thanks for asking x
