She sprained her what?!

Kipper had this when he was younger - it was clearly really painful and he found it quite worrying. Anti-inflams and painkillers helped settle it after a couple of days.

I hope she recovers soon. How do you rest a tail?!
You keep her home, and calm as much as possible. Probably on the Trazadone to keep her calm, and the Reumecam to keep the inflammation down. Lots of cuddle time.

Angel wags her tail so hard, she whips herself in her head with it. It moves her whole body. When you walk in the door, she's got the strangest wiggly walk, as her waggy tail is wagging her entire body.

I was expecting the verdict to be that she'd wagged it off a wall corner and bruised it...because it looks like the time at 4m old, when she whacked it off the fridge.

Happy tail.
It's the same thing as cold water tail I think.
Yes, the vet called it both interchangeably. I guess with Happy tail, it's more common for the tip to be damaged from hitting the tail on walls....whereas cold water tail is more of a overuse sprain like Angel has. She's swollen just as the tail begins it's curve down, if she were going to tail tuck. About 4 inches from the base

I've always laughed because her "tail wagging muscles" are overly defined...giving her a vee shaped muscle mass going to her tail that I've never seen on another dog
