Sickie Quinn

How is Quinn? My vet always says wait 24 hrs. If no improvement, then come in. But make sure she’s taking in fluids—chicken water is a great idea. Hope she’s better today.

Just back from the vet...she got an anti-nausea shot, which seemed to kick in right away as she drank some water. She also got some fluids put under the skin that will absorb over the next few hours to hydrate. I opted to get her blood work done just to check things out, so will get results by tomorrow. In the meantime I have some pills to help with stomach acid and nausea and a gastro diet to slowly get her back on solids. Thanks for all the well wishes - Quinn says thank you and it almost makes up for missing her friends at the park this morning!

We are very worried and freaked out as she has not improved much at all, won’t eat anything, and has only had a few bits of water. She stayed in one spot the entire day yesterday and I had to carry her out for a pee. I’m waiting for the blood test results this morning and see what the vet suggests.
