Just catching up, what a terrible time you're going through. I hope her surgery is straight forward & she's soon home recovering.
She was actually ok and relaxed at that point and feeling better from fluids and pain meds. Earlier she wouldn’t lay down from pain. She did pant a bit so I think seeing us was a bit confusing/stressful for her.
She’s halfway through...I should have an update in about half an hour.

How is Quinn doing? X
She is out of surgery and she’s stable. The blockage was caused by a chunk of corn on the cob (which I suspected), which damaged the intestine and it tore in surgery so 10cm had to be removed making the procedure a bit more severe. She’s now on anti biotics and recovering and it looks like she can come home Monday. Thanks everyone for your support - it means a lot that there are people who understand. We are missing her a lot this weekend but feel better that we got to the bottom of things. The vet said that she was mere days away from a potential tear/rupture so we are grateful that things happened this way.
