It's that time of year again. My late and so much loved Solstice is the only dog I've ever had who sort of had two birthday celebrations, one on the winter solstice, which was her actual birthday, also one on the summer solstice, due to her name.
GGJ however gets to celebrate both of Solstice's special days, plus her own birthday, her Gotcha day, Christmas and New Year! Oh, and usually my birthday too, so she doesn't do too badly really!
Tonight we have been Veryvery sensible, it being a Tuesday and have only just now poured a small glass of wine while we watch it get dark, remember loved dogs and people who are no longer with us, and celebrate those who remain, along with the lightest day of the year. Happy Summer Solstice everyone!

Quite possibly! Those highs look warm but it really does not feel that warm. I've had the heater on most of the day
