Yes! But I think it will be a couple of weeks before he’s up to hoolying.

We could meet up with Tatze and GoodGirlJoy ‘tho?
.
That would be lovely! Are you sure that Tatze won't find GGJ too annoying? I'm busy this Wednesday but otherwise any day is fine so far. It would be good to meet Tatze.

So glad he's home safe. He does look a touch subdued though, poor sweet boy! I expect he'll soon be back to normal and then of course the problem will be keeping him quiet!

He’s been wolfing his special food down, I was told little and often but he thinks it should be ‘lots and often’! When he’s not eating he’s sleeping. The best thing for healing. I’ll sleep in the lounge with him tonight to be sure he’s OK.

I’ve taken his suit off for now as he’s showing no interest in the operation site. I’ll put it on again tonight

Is he on restricted exercise? I've never had a boy neutered; I don't imagine it's as involved a recovery as for the girls?
Ten days lead walks only, no stairs or steps and I have to lift him into the car. Tatze is with Zaba because, although she’s calm with him, he isn’t with her!

His scar is tiny - 2cm and his balls, after being huge danglers are tiny too!

He has a follow up appointment on Friday, I think I’ll ask for more Metacam as they’ve only given me three days worth - then I’ve got some just in case.
.
I’ve ordered another medical suit the same as the vet provided - it will need washing every day, it gets very gunky in the boy area
.

Awwww. Poor little Spencer. He'll be well soon though.

I was wondering, if a dog is becoming unwell whilst with a blind owner, how does that work? Is the dog trained to let them know somehow? Or is the dog regularly checked on?

Most Guide Dog owners are VI ‘tho a few are totally blind. They are taught to use touch and smell to check the dogs (we have to do the same to get our pups used to it). We all have welfare officers on call too.
