Here is another photo of him, he looks like a real darling

He’s at the breeding centre at the moment with his brother, Oliver. Both are coming up in the transport van on Tuesday, he’ll arrive at about lunchtime. He’s passed all his temperament and health tests (as have the whole litter)

Spencer isn’t coming tomorrow.

While I was away Keir had a free run with his friend Paige. She came down with kennel cough on Friday, so Keir has to be ten days free of it before a pup can be placed with me.

All fingers and paws crossed that Keir doesn’t develop it. If he doesn’t Spencer will arrive a week tomorrow, the 10th of July. Until then he will stay at the breeding centre with two pups who are in the same boat.

Disappointing but understandable.

Yes, and it’s good to know how careful they are with the pups.

I do have lots to do - it was a bit of a rush after my holidays tbh. But I’m worried for Keir and watching his every move. He seems fine so far - charging round the woods this morning with Tatze!

If Keir does develop it I will probably not get Spencer as they like to place the pups ASAP after 7 weeks old. Coffee, the dog I fund raised to name, is being mated on Thursday so I’ll probably wait and ask for one of his pups.

Ho hum - off to do some long overdue decluttering

Still no coughing or anything from Keir, fingers and paws remain crossed ?

I had my pre-puppy supervision visit today and all systems are go for a week tomorrow. Spencer is in a little gang at the breeding centre with three other pups who are in the same boat. Hopefully his bite inhibition will be coming on a treat!
