Yes, it was a difficult decision and I was very conflicted about it. Once she had her Leish diagnosis, I would have done it anyway, as the hormone fluctuations can trigger relapse - and puppies are a no-no (not that I had any aspirations to breed) as the parasite can cross to the pups in utero.

Thanks for asking. She’s still on the Incurin and she’s better, but not perfect. She has a leak about twice a week. The vet says we can increase the dosage if necessary, so we may do that, but I’m still concerned at how much she drinks. Her first wee on a walk is always massive, so it’s no surprise really that she can’t hold it sometimes. We’re taking her out more frequently, but that is rather treating the symptom rather than determining the cause.
So... not sure. We’re back at the vet tomorrow so will have a chat then.

Thanks... although I wasn't clear (doh!). It's Shadow we're taking to the vet, not Squidge. He needs his dressing changed again. We'll just ask the vet about Squidgebit while we're there

Nope, her kidneys are absolutely fine, so no worries there.
As it turns out, we can't get to the vet this afternoon because of too much snow causing chaos with holidaymakers who are incapable of driving in it, so we're putting it off until Friday.

and nearly forgot hope Shadow is OK too of course...and what the heck hope the rest of the gang are in perfect health for now.
