Squits :(

Both dogs have got the squits now. perhaps to wasn't the chicken after all. Just got in from work, and I was making my way around the garden, dousing all the liquid poo with water when Coco squats for a runny one

I've had to keep them both off school tonight I spoke to the trainer and he said 2 of his have come down with similar.

Oh no! Bad enough with one, never mind double the trouble! Hope they're both OK again soon. Sounds like maybe a bug going round?

Oh no, that's not good. You do seem to get more than your fair share of this trouble. Is there anywhere that they might be drinking from that could be upsetting them?

I really can't think of anything. We don't mix with other dogs. They haven't drunk anywhere except their bowls. The only possibility that occurs to me is eating cat poo, but I haven't even seen them do that. Trainer said his dogs haven't mixed with any others either.

They are both happy as Larry, snoozing after a full on wrestling session.

My lot ALL had squits last week. J had to take SIX trips out during one night. I slept* through it all.

Only twice last night. The third time..(when I might have been pretending), Coco only wanted a drink.

Well this afternoon I left both of them in the kitchen, with the back door open and came home to only 2 very soft but formed poos in the garden. I don't know if it was 1 each, but I hope so. I brought a stool pot home in case I need to put a sample in.

Much better. Meg went out only once last night - I slept through that one - I collected a soft but formed poo this morning, just about pickable-upable. Coco has just done a normal poo.

They've been having Pro-fibre and Logic Firm-up paste, and Meg also has some YuDigest tablets now - I think I need to keep up her good bacteria, these are the same probiotic as the paste we had from the vet (at a lesser concentration) - as is the Pro-fibre. I do believe we've turned the corner.

No sick.

No-one got up in the night last night
Meg - large, formed, solid poo with a dollop of mousse to finish. (a fleeting thought flashed through as I stooped to pick it up...get your camera)
Coco - small, formed, solid but with more give than usual.
