Ooh, that’s a horrible feeling! We seemed to have quite a few flea infestations when we were younger, we’d put down a sheet of white paper on the carpet to see how bad the infestation was…
Stanley is now treated. He seems to be itching less so hopefully it’s kicking in.
I’ve only found 2 on him so *fingers crossed* we’ve got it early.
Currently in the process of hoovering like a mad women and I’ve ordered some spray. House is being professionally treated on Monday so will start boil washing everything ready.
On a lot of the other sites I use people are having problems with fleas at the moment. It seems to be a bad year for them. A lot of fleas can now tolerate frontline and it doesn't kill them so don't use it. I've have occasionally used vet products but also neem the oil or neem sprays on their coats or billy no mates in their food. Spraying the carpet is a good idea so you've got it sorted now. Its just fleas it won't take long to get em
Stanley doesn’t come upstairs so I’m hoping that it won’t be too bad. And it’s all hard flooring downstairs so I’ve just been hoovering and scrubbing it.
He’s still scratching a little bit. Not sure how long the flea stuff will take to get rid of everything on him I’ve been brushing him lots and haven’t found anything else.
I remember going through the same thing a few years. I explained how I had been vacuuming like a crazy woman and boil washing everything in sight that wasn't attached.. she looked at me sympathetically and said " Boy, so you have the cleanest, maddest fleas in the neighborhood"...
