Stanley’s eaten something AGAIN

What a worry but you did the right thing @Jen.
There are so many idiots around that just do nasty things.
Better safe than sorry.
I think he knows that he is loved very very much..
Did he enjoy the chicken and rice you cooked for him??
How is he today?

Oh, I hope he is his perky self soon. They seem to love stressing us out with gut problems...

Chewie once ate a bunch of pellets off the side of the road before we could stop him. I was freaking out thinking they could be poison but then the woman who lives in the house stuck her head out and said that it was rabbit feed and she was trying to catch a rabbit that had been wandering around lost so she could take it to the vet! Nice thought but didn't account for Labrapigs.

He looks very subdued, but sadly these dogs don’t learn from their being-made-sick experiences! He’ll be bouncing around and ready to scavenge something else soon.
My vet's dachshund has had to be opened up three times in as many months for eating the wrong things, the first op he had 25 cm of his bowel removed. The vet has to take him to the emergency vet about 12 miles away as he has stopped doing night time cover!!

Rourke eats dead Muntjacs at times, when he can find it before me or when I forget where he found it and he sneaks off from quite a long way away!
Up to this moment, he has a cast iron stomach!

Oh no, poor Stan. As it's twice now, will your vet be able to test what the pellets are if you can collect a sample? Maybe that's a long shot... If they turn out to be harmless then you would worry less.
