all of the sudden he became the most loving and most gentle giant and he became 1000000% my dog and couldn’t imagine never having him in my life ❤
 I love this so much. Thank you
Like you said, this too shall pass! I still have two scars from Axel from those early days where he ripped me open. I cherish those scars now 🥰
I’m certain I’ll cherish these scars in time!
How big is Stilton now?! Photo update?!
When we weighed him last week at 18 weeks old, he was 16.8kg. And here he is, in all his wild sweetness! His first walk in the woods

 It is no fun to be in that stage of really not liking your dog - I definitely was there with Simba at the beginning when we first got him at 9 months with big teeth and very aggressive. Hang in there, it will get better!!

He did his first 6 hours through for a few weeks - I got 4.5 hrs unbroken sleep*, and it’s bliss!
Here he is watching seagulls in the garden this morning

Oh look at those cute knobbles on his front legs! Still some growing to do, but my he does have a "grown up" head doesn't he? No doubt his brain is wayyyyyy behind!

All this talk of *extra* sleep deprivation is reminding me why we aren't ready for a puppy yet! Rowan has somehow gotten it into his head that we are definitely getting a second dog when he is six. And that the puppy will be nice and gentle because it will "be just like Chewie." Oh dear.

pretty tough going while it lasts.
Bless you for this, I appreciate it 😘
I don't know how you are still able to function
I’m struggling at times - I cried 6 times yesterday, only twice today so far! :fingers: Next week we’re both back to work full time which is going to be fascinating.
No doubt his brain is wayyyyyy behind!
Hell yeah! Or to be fair, vacillating between some excellent decision making and impulse control, back to ‘seriously??’:facepalm:

Ahahahahaha! Or maybe when Chewie is 6? How far away is that?

How is life in the puppy household @HAH ?
Thanks for asking Robyn! It is all go, but I think - I think - we may be getting a bit calmer. Last night we went for a pub meal with my mum, aunt and uncle and uncle’s sister (aunt once removed? 🤷‍♀️) and left the boys in the car, as the weather has turned cooler. They were both really good, settled for a good couple of hours - and this was the first time we’ve done this so it’s encouraging for the future.
I’m actually off to Vienna for work today which I really don’t want to do - OH is looking after the boys until Saturday and we’ve got lots of strategies in place. They’ll have a great time, but I’m going to miss them dreadfully! I am really looking forward to catching up on sleep though… 😴
