Successful Vet Visit for Charlie

Charlie had his yearly booster vaccinations and MOT this morning. His weight is 31.5 kg, same as last year. His teeth are beautifully clean and white as I brush them, heart all good and he is in great physical shape. Asked the vet if she could check that I am correctly clipping and taking enough off his nails, she said they are perfect and not to take any more off as they are black, I was convinced they were still too long but what do I know!. Charlie is almost 8 years old so I am thrilled with him He was a very good boy which might have something to do with him being the only patient! xx

Yes I am pretty proud Sue as he does look good which takes a lot of time and effort. All I need is a yearly brain scan to see what goes on in that 'pea' brain of his! xx

Charlie went to the vet for his boosters and check up. The vet was thrilled with him, his teeth are excellent and can tell they are brushed, nails a good length, his weight at 31kgs is perfect for his build, his coat is beautifullly shiny. She commented what brilliant shape he is in, good muscle tone and for a dog of almost 9 years old she could hardly believe and wished more dogs came into her surgery looking so good. Charlie took a real shine to her and gave her lovely kisses and cuddles. He behaved so well. Feeling a little chuffed xx

What a wonderful job you have done with Charlie, he was so lucky to be adopted by you. I know in the beginning he was a bit of a handful, but look at him now, you should be well chuffed and proud.

We have to take Maxx soon and I'm dreading it. He always goes nuts and last time made the nurses arm bleed from his claw when he jumped up

Good boy Charlie! I never really appreciated what it would be like taking a nervous dog to the vet before Otter (everthing right now is B.O, ) Benson LOVES the vet....Bramble falls asleep, Casper just waggles a lot, apart from the odd bark.....Otter though is another story...
