We have just been away for a week in our campervan to Northumberland. Wasn't sure how Buddy would be, he has been away for 2 nights before in it, but not a week.
He was a star
- settled well on the campsite despite having to be on lead or tethered to something all the time. Some great walks learning to ignore other people and dogs. We also managed lunch and a few drinks in a beer garden, even if we did sit on the furthest table away from people and other dogs, and a visit to a coffee shop which was new for him-settled in a corner even with dogs on the next table. For the boy that wants to say hello to every person and dog that he meets, this was a huge achievement.
He loved the sea and soft sand was the most exciting thing ever-crazy zoomies! Only downside is that he now has conjunctivitis again, so trip to the vets this afternoon when we got home, all that playing in the sand probably didn't help, oops! And when we weighed him at the vets, he is 29kg at 6 and a half months old
A much easier week than anticipated, signs that the bouncy boy is growing up and can behave!
