Wow he is just stunning and lovely to hear how much he enjoyed his camping and the sea. I think it’s great when you can start eating and drinking out and about with your dog. I can feel your pride.
I made sure I rinsed it out after he had been in the sea. So far it's ok, but it is new (big lad had outgrown his other one!) Can they can go in the washing machine on a low temperature?Buddy is beautiful! And I'm glad you both had a great time.
I hope the harness dried out well though. We have the same one and it can get a bit pongy after it gets wet.
I've always washed harness, collars and leads in the washing machine, in with some dog towels. And just turned the spin speed down a bitI made sure I rinsed it out after he had been in the sea. Thank you, not sure if I had built it up in my head that he would be a nightmare, but I was expecting worse, need to have some faith in him! I know we have the terrible teens to come but it's nice to feel we are getting somewhere with him and are doing things right so far.Oh he's just gorgeous. If he's that well behaved at 6 months you are doing seriously well with him! You should be so proud of him and all your hard work.
That's good to know, his blankets need a wash so will chuck the harness in with them.I've always washed harness, collars and leads in the washing machine, in with some dog towels. And just turned the spin speed down a bit
If they are fleecy, they will bobble, but I've never been worried about thatI've only ever rinsed/hand washed my harness, but @Natalie's advice is good.
And Maisy - could be her brotherGoodness!! He looks just like my Amber!
I think it helped in the pub that we were outside, and the coffee shop we just stayed for a drink, didn't risk trying lunch on his first visit, but we were impressed that he settled, especially with other dogs so close. What a gorgeous boy and so well behaved, at 7 months when we took Maisy on hols she was quite restless in cafes and pubs so we didn't stay in each one for long. He is doing really well, you should be proud,
Setting him up for success rather than failure - sounds like good dog training to meI think it helped in the pub that we were outside, and the coffee shop we just stayed for a drink, didn't risk trying lunch on his first visit, but we were impressed that he settled, especially with other dogs so close.

I don't know, no more little puppy faceThis is wonderful, what a lovely read. I can't believe how grown up he looks - when did that happen??
Haha, no worries, I didn't even notice until you mentioned itOh no! I didn't mean to swear at you! Please ignore the![]()
