She went in ok (ish). I phoned an hour ago and she was still in surgery. They said it’s taken a bit longer than originally planned and that she was very subdued whilst waiting. I have to call again about 3pm to see when she will be ready to collect. My house feels so weird without her

We got home about half hour ago. The 3 lumps weighed 1.3kg. She’s struggling to sit and lie down and the minute and is unsure about everything. She’s had a long wee which is good news.

You must be so pleased she is home. Hunter goes very doolally for 48 hours after anaesthetic. That is a lot of tissue to be renewed. What pain killers have they given? She is a very brave dog. X

Thanks all. Shes had a very little bit of food and ate it all 
. They were so big and must have been aggravating her a lot.
Hopefully she will be more relaxed after a snooze

They sent her home with metacam and antibiotics.
The vet was 99.9% sure that they were fatty lumps which is great news

Poor baby
I hope she sleeps well tonight (and you too). It sounds very positive, just needing her to get over the anaesthetic and soreness. The shoulder incision looks about where Wispa had her lump removed a couple of years ago - not as big as Harley’s though!

She should feel so much better without those heavy lumps! I found the first day of the op was the worst for dogs, they seemed to be so much better the next day and I hope for that for Harley, onwards and upwards now x
