Beautiful this time of year! It was nice in winter too, but there is less mud and more leaves now.
I think GGJ and I might have walked there with Mags@Boogie too! I think we may have had the (now world famous) lovely Spencer with us. I think that might well have been the time that I got his new toy stuck in a tree (twice! :$ :$)
Only Mags is qualified to confirm or deny this, although Joy is pretty sure I'm right!:hearteyesdog:

Joy is close - ‘tree incident’ was at the next reservoir up the valley. I’d forgotten about it and I’m sure Spencer has too!
Tatze and I will take you to this reservoir next time you visit.

Poor Tatze has woken up with a bad limp in her right forepaw. There is no redness, swelling or grass seed to be seen.
The vets are closed for bank holiday so I’ve given her Metacam and will take her to the vets on Saturday if she‘s still limping. So Zaba has gone for a solo walk today. Tatze had an extra filled bone as compensation, bless her.

🙁🤔

Oh poor Tatze, what a sad face! I hope her sore paw is better soon. GGJ sends love and concerned squeaky noises, also a few gentle licks. Love from me too.xxx

The vet gave Tatze a really good examination and he thinks it’s arthritis. She’s on Metacam for two weeks then, if it doesn’t help (he thinks this may just be a flare-up and may be calmed by nsaids) he’ll try her on Librella.

Bless her, I know exactly how arthritis feels. I also know that the key is the right amount of exercise. For now it will be just short lead walks. She’s had no walks at all since we noticed her limp and she hasn’t minded, which shows how it must hurt.
