Darn. And when it’s you with your guide dog experience saying you’ve tried everything, you really have tried everything.

Carbón has issues with dry eyes and gets drops twice a day. I’m really grateful that he doesn’t seem to care in the least. He gets a warm towel on his face before and loves that - I think that’s why he is ok with the drops. But if he’d hated the drops like Tatze, we wouldn’t have been able to build that positive association between the towel and the drops to begin with.

That’s really good to read, Mags - thank you for the update and I hope you both have a peaceful evening.

She's back home and being a really good girl. I've taken the big hard colour off and I'm just watching her very carefully at the moment. She'll have the soft blow-up colour on when I'm not in the room. She's crying a little bit and then snoozing. The eye's looking amazingly well, the vet found two lumps and he's removed them both. I'll be sleeping downstairs with her tonight and tomorrow night. We are going back for a checkup on Saturday, the stitches will dissolve within a couple of weeks.

I'm having to watch Ted carefully because he's rather keen to lick the eye.

No eye drops! Hallelujah! Just metacam which she is on already so we know her tum is fine with it.
