Teeth, hips and nails

Ok, after crying in the car on the way to the vet, I now feel like a bit of an idiot.

The vet's exact words were "her hips and knees are up there with some of the most beautiful joints I've ever seen in a Labrador". Then I cried again. Oops.

We looked at my video a number of times and they felt that, me seeing this twice in six months, combined with her x-rays were not cause for concern. They believe that it's more likely that these were anomalies with an unknown cause. However, that won't stop us keeping on top of it and monitoring her for any changes.

For now, I'm going to snuggle up with my baby girl 🥰

Hooray, that's fantastic news - I'm so pleased for you. Hopefully the reassurance will percolate through over the next few days and you'll feel a lot better about it.
Oh, and her nails are beautiful too..
That was my first thought when I saw the photo and hadn't read the text! What an excellent set of trimmed nails

Thank you everyone, I am feeling so incredibly relieved.

However, I am worried the my OTT excitement was a little insensitive considering that we have members struggling with their pups and joint/arthritis/bone spur type issues. I really hope that I haven't upset anyone 🙁

I’m sure that’s not the case, Emily. I’m sure those members, knowing how hard it is to have dogs with joint issues, are more relieved for you than anyone.

Hope you’re enjoying your cuddles with Ella, what a relief it must be! Xx
