Has anyone read The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson? I don't need to be persuaded of the benefits of positive reinforcement training, so I'd like to know if the book will offer me more than that. Any opinions please?

I have heard great things about it, I do have the book, had it about 15 years but never read it!
It's good I liked it and it's got interesting ideas that I think you might like. I dip in occasionally these days when I feel I need reasurrance and a calm perspective.

It's a good book. Can it offer you anything new? That's difficult to say. I think all these books have the odd tidbit or morsel that makes you think "aha!", but if you already have a thorough understanding of learning theory that goes beyond simply "I want to use R+", then I think there's only so much they can give you. I think for anything more, you need to be reading stuff that's aimed more at the scientific community and less at the general public.
