Hola amigos! I am in my homeland! San Sebastián was beautiful, meaning I found a dead crab to eat, and the hills on the border are spectacular, meaning I found horse and sheep poo to eat. I miss Cornwall, but de verdad, truly, these culinary travels are not half bad.

Hola amigos! Today was a beautiful day because I had two breakfasts and two dinners. Que bien! Also I was greatly admired by the Spanish people during a visit to Segovia, but mainly I had four meals and that is AMAZING.
Why did we visit Segovia? Because Cookie Man lives on Segovia Court in California, so ML thought we should see the original one.
No, I do not really understand it either but I do not question my Monkey Butler who feeds me four times in one day.

Segovia is a walled city in the middle of nowhere. I know this because we drove from somewhere green with a beach to the middle of the brown. It is not too far from Madrid, which is also in the middle of nowhere. I may be biased because I am an Andalusian gentleman, and everyone knows that Andalusia is SOMEWHERE.
Here are some walls.
Segovia is famous for its aqueduct. That is something to do with water. Mainly it looks good behind me, no?
I had a photo shoot in the middle of town. Everyone was very impressed with me and how long I can pose. Claro que si, of course I can do this - I am a professional. ML couldn't decide which one she likes the best, so you get two.
Here is a very pretty castle where no dogs are allowed and because I am on holiday, I did not put on my vest to go in. It is ok, we saw many other beautiful things and because there are no dogs allowed in the castle gardens, there would have been no good smells anyway, no?
We are going to stop and sniff this monastery tomorrow on the way out of town. ML says that I can have a very cultural wee. I do not care as long as I can wee. Dogs are very practical that way.
Having a nice walk along the walls.
This is not interesting because I am not in it.
This is also not interesting.
This is the cathedral, which is indeed a leeeetle bit interesting, even though I am not in it.
And that is all, mis amigos! Tomorrow we arrive at our big house with a sofa and a garden just for me! That is not quite as exciting as two breakfasts and two dinners, but it is pretty good, no? Hasta mañana!

First I had my normal breakfast in our room, then the hotel fed ML a breakfast big enough for two people and because they are VERY dog friendly, they said to give me whatever I wanted. I got bread and fruit and all sorts of yummy things! Then when we got to our little house in Segovia, it was almost my dinner time so ML said because I was so good I could have dinner EARLY. Then after our walk, ML said I was looking a little too thin these days and I will have forgotten that I had early dinner anyway, so why not have another dinner?
My life goals have been achieved, what else is there to hope for?
Claro que si, I will have forgotten all of this by tomorrow morning and I will feel like I am once again dying of starvation, but today has been sweet nonetheless.

ML here: Carbon is trying to tell me that I've forgotten to feed him dinner. I really can't win here. Poor Señor is going to be going to bed "starving". It's very sad. Someone get out the tiny violin.

It is very strange, my querida Jac. I am used to the rain from above in Cornwall and I keep waiting for it here in Spain but it does not come. I have not had to wear my raincoat once in nearly a week! And my little gentlemanly feet are warm all the way through for the first time since November in California. That is quite nice.
On the other hand, my gentlemanly feet got a little TOO hot yesterday so ML and I had to do a siesta and wait to go out in the evening when it was better for both of us. Having my foot pads melt into the pavement was never something your Spanish señor had to worry about in the UK!
