Once again a wonderful write ups. I always enjoy your write ups. Please think about writing a book about Mr Carbon and you. I would buy it and I am sure so would many other people.

True or not, that gives me such an ego boost which I kind of needed today. :sun:

I forget Carbon is a Spanish dog—as a Labrador, I just imagine a British accent. Altho by all rights, it should be Canadian!
I always think Carbon sounds like a more refined version of Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots:
I always thought of Toby (now Alf, former foster Bodeguero) as talking with the Puss in Boots accents. Carbon is kind of a funny one as I got the voice that @Mr Beanwood does for Casper in my head and then kind of gave it a Spanish accent. So take Antonio Banderas, make him a little less suave and a little more derby, add a Somerset twist and...voila!...there's Carbon. Or at least originally. Now that he's gained all his continental travel experience and thinks of himself more of a Spanish gentleman dog, maybe he IS sounding like Puss in Boots now!

Happy travels and adventures, both of you!
Thanks, Rosie...and Pongo? Got any bread ready? We may be headed through Wales soon and Carbon would like to top up.

Playing in the sand with his tennis ball could go viral, just like the lab/ball/trampoline video! He had a lovely time entertaining himself in the sand. :)
That was actually pretty sedate for him. It's his new thing, to entertain himself with a ball. Before he needed another dog, now he just goes gangbusters all on his own. I limit his tennis ball 'use' as for him they are like crack cocaine. He goes nuts over them, but too much and he gets obsessed and ignores everything else. I guess that's a Lab thing? Or a 'some Labs' thing? He sure does have fun, though!

It was a rainy afternoon spent planning lodging for the next few days. Tomorrow night it's a B&B in Killarney so that I can visit the national park, then two nights here:

Ballinskelligs Co. Kerry glen view stfinansbay - Houses for Rent in Stfinans Bay, County Kerry, Ireland

I would have happily stayed a week, but two days was all they had available, so I'm taking advantage of what I can! Then I'll be in Dingle for one night (or maybe two) and then back to Rose's for goodbye before heading towards Wexford and the ferry to Wales. Or not..I've not planned that bit yet. Heh, heh, it's that kind of trip! :D
