I love hearing stories of maternity leave, you ladies always seem to do lovely things! It makes me think I need to take some time off work and stay home rather than running around like a headless chicken which is what most of my “holidays” seem to be.
Blackberry ice cream sounds yummy! I make the best cookies and cream ice cream in the world (my not-such-a-secret is a good glug of whiskey) but I’m not very adventurous.
Have you ever tried making frozen yoghurt? I generally prefer that to ice cream but I’ve never made it myself. I bet a blackberry version would be delicious.

Ooh cookies and cream sounds excellent...I will add that to the list! And should try frozen yoghurt too, might be better for the waistline (if I ever get it back!). You should definitely take a ‘home holiday’ in the future and just potter about for a week or two, good for the soul especially when you normally spend your time driving across continents rescuing dogs and so forth
