While it must have been misery for you, it was awfully fun to read. I can just imagine you sliding after the ball and the look of triumph on your face when you finally got the blasted ball back!
I've just decided that except for extremely rare occasions, getting Carbon anywhere near a ball is simply not worth it - but he's gobs worse than Reuben could ever dream about being. Today my father decided that he was going to give Carbon a ball and I thought, "That's it, I've completely lost control" which turned out to be true: poor Carbon reduced to a slobbering brainless mess and my Dad commenting, "Oh, he really is kind of an addict, isn't he?".
Ee gads, these dogs (and humans).
