Oh Jen, Rory is just awesome and Stanley looks so pleased with himself. My DH grew up in a family with a really nasty divorce and a number of difficulties - he was very young for his grades and was regularly bullied. But through all of that he had a bull mastiff called Rusty who was his BEST friend. The times they spent together, the adventures they had, the ice creams they shared - it absolutely healed so many painful things.

I am so excited for all of you and I can't wait to hear all about it.

I can’t tell you the relief!

Obviously there’s still going to be challenges but I’ve been so worried my entire pregnancy that it was just going to be a huge disaster and Stanley was going to either be like tigger on speed or hate the crying.

Having my family all together and everyone doing ok is the best thing ever (Until we all hate each other at 3am when we’re getting no sleep ).

Oh gosh, don't get her hopes up! Some sleep through the night very quickly, others get colic and don't sleep for 3 months, others are still waking during the night into toddler-hood. Some of it is training (lol), but most of it is just dealing with the baby in front of you.
