This is a bit strange.

Thank you all. :)
Bear kept getting very confused last night but eventually slept. Today he is still very clingy and is sleeping a lot. I'm letting him sleep as much as he wants. At his age I think he should do whatever he wants. I'm giving him all his favourite foods and if he wants a little walk later I will take him.
He has had a wonderful life and I have a firm rule that no animal of mine will have to live with pain or misery so if his end is near I will not hesitate to let him go with dignity. I'm just hoping he will pick up a bit more today and I might have a little longer with my sweet little guy.

Sending all the good lambie vibes for you and Bear.

If I remember right you thought he was near the end around the time you got Alex, so I'm hoping that he turns around again and you have yet more time with him.
Yes, our vet gave him a reprieve with an experimental med last time and it did give him a new lease on life for a while. This is something different now though. I'm hoping this is something that he'll get over. If it was a one off seizure then he may recover given time.

So sorry to read this. Does he seem unbalanced as well? Do his eyes look “off” a bit? We had a dog that went through a short bout of vestibular disease. My sisters dog went through the same thing, but her bout of VD lasted about 2 months. It might be worth a google....it presents similar to a stroke.
