Is he still doing well on the 3 meals a day.
So far so good
but I’m not going to get excited yet. These weird episodes sometimes takes 3 months to happen again. Granted it was quite often at the end there, coming 1 week after the last. But so far so good!
Just a bit of an update - it’s been 4 weeks since Axel’s scope and since I changed his meals to three small meals instead of two bigger ones.
Axel was great for the first 2 weeks and then one afternoon I came home after being out for lunch and found two piles of throw up. At first I was so upset, thinking whyyyy?! But then I realized, hey there are only two piles and no blood!
One week later the vet called me with the biopsy results of his esophagus, stomach and colon- all came back 100% normal. Yay good news at least. So he suggests to keep going with the smaller meals considering there was an improvement at least with the quantity and quality of the vomit. He said as soon as it happens again to call him and in which case he thinks switching kibble will be the next step but over all he’s happy with the improvement for now
