Ticks in December

I cannot believe I found an engorged tick on Hattie today. I usually stop flea/tick treatment in October, but am having to treat them both today, just in case. It's so mild they are still thriving x

Blimey , but its so mild , well it is down here anyway , blasted ticks, hate them and so hard to spot on black dogs too x Ironically, its so mild that I have a primrose flowering in the garden , 12 degrees today , wet and gloomy , bring on the frost x

Crazy mild isn’t it? I saw some campion flowering yesterday. Hopefully it’s getting colder again tomorrow...

We have been highs of 6 or 8 over the last few days but much colder tomorrow.
G and S went out 10.15 this morning and had to scrape ice of the car windows.
Sea wasn't frozen though

It has been between 13 - 16 degrees here, bloomin' warm for December. No wonder the ticks are having a field day! xx
