Toffee accused of being aggressive

When I worked on the building site we had over pumps which were used when sewers were being repaired. The were narrow gauge thick rubber hoses which were full of sewage of the worst kind. One night under cover of darkness someone shut off the over pump hose and put it through a letter box and sealed it to the door then switched it back on. By the time the house owners realised the ground floor of the house was swimming on about a good inch or so of human bottom juice. We never found who did it but Im sure the house owner knew who they'd upset. I just couldn't believe it I was only young when I worked there it could be very lawless but I'm sure it was the locals rather than the site boys. They weren't so subtle they would usually drive a dumper truck through your front window of they were annoyed at you. I loved working there it was hard work but it was never dull.

But late catching up but.i hope you are not feeling so upset. It sounds like an overreaction. Some people think dogs should act like humans. I completely understand why you are upset. I would just avoid the couple if possible. The guy had no right to to tell Toffee off. If you reversed the situation how would you handle it? That helps me get some perspective. X

I've just seen this and as the guardian of a fellow enthusiastic greeter I feel your pain.

As others have said, so many dog owners have no idea about dog behaviour and communication and label anything and everything as aggression. He was also was out of line manhandling Toffee and shouting.

Hope you are both ok now. :)
