Glad it was swiftly diagnosed, and treatment started. Little love
However thismorning her eye was stuck closed and she was not her usual self,

and we hope her eye heals quickly. X
So pleased Joy is a bit better, what a helpful receptionist and it sounds like the vet was on the ball as wellThanks everyone, she already looks a lot more comfortable, not pawing at her eye now and enjoying the extra treats for accepting her eye drops. I was really impressed with the vet's receptionist when I rang for an appointment. Initially she gave me a 1.30 slot but after I explained the problem she said 'Hang on a minute, there's a 10.30 available and given that it's an eye that might be better '. As we're not even regular customers I thought that was really good, and everyone there was lovely and said she was beautiful and such a GoodGirl! However they had her name down as a boy, having thought her name was Joey! Difference in accents!![]()

This was the walk in Guiseborough Forest on Thursday. Less spectacular views, but a very pretty walk in the autumn sunshine.
The view from the farm track down to our cottage. The middle peak is Dromonby Bank that we walked up on Tuesday.

GGJ in her autumn collar. She agrees that it's been a Luvlee holiday! Apart from the trip to the vet, that is.
