We're just back from a check on Joy's eye at our usual vet, as advised by the holiday vet and it's healing well. Carry on with drops for another five days and no need to go back unless I have any concerns.

Here we are on our next adventure! We're back to train travel after nearly three years, unless you count the short hop to Rochdale to see Mags and Tatze. We have a table to ourselves and Joy is as settled as a dog could be underneath it! She is acting like an old pro, as if she's never stopped doing it! The challenge will be changing trains when we get to Leeds. I had planned the journey so that there would be twenty minutes between arriving in Leeds and getting on the Nottingham train, but the original train was cancelled so now we have just six minutes, cutting it a bit fine to say the least! GGJ is doing so very well though, really calm and settled and I couldn't be more proud of her!

Phew! We made it with about a minute to spare! Joy was a total , she hurried along with me but remained calm. This train is unfortunately less roomy than the last one, but here she is, settled with her chew.

The train is crowded, there's very little space and she's lying quietly at my feet, greeting other people as they sit down and is as good as gold. I was wondering if she'd have to get used to it all again but I needn't have worried, she's not put a paw wrong!
