Untidy moult

I wish I could vacuum twice daily as that's what we need but we don't have time sadly. Maxx sheds fistfuls every day and of course his favourite sleeping/playing surface is our dark brown mat in the lounge. It looks like Anne's photo above after a very short time

BTW, love the new emojis @snowbunny

Chocolates look so untidy when they moult!!

Squidge has taken forever to shed her coat. She seems to have done it from the middle out. She now has a patch on each shoulder, her ruff and her bum/tail that need to go. She looks ridiculous:

Honestly, her bum hair is about 2cm longer than the rest of it! She doesn't like me brushing the royal bloomers and life is too short. So I just point and laugh instead.

We have no carpets anywhere in the house. Tiles or wooden floor/stairs. I think by having that type of floor covering you see everything, but also the fact it sometimes makes it easier to know where to hoover.

That's a new one on me! I have something like a Furminator. It's really good, and she doesn't mind having her back and sides brushed, but she's not too keen on the bloomers and tail. I have other things higher on my list than working on that with her. Last night I sat with her on the sofa, pulling out clumps with my fingers. It was quite therapeutic and I made some good headway, but I really need to hoover now :D
??? this is Gracie too and what I end up doing ? Gracie is the only greyhound we've had that really really feels the heat, this summer has been alot for her to cope with and she's been moulting alot, she looks like a Merle lurcher at times!
