I live in Leicester but have contacts with Derbyshire staffs and notts. I getting lots of reports of a doggie gastroenteritis in my area. Apparently it's a really nasty one and has made lots of dogs very ill. It's as lot worse than a normal one. They the its a different strain.

Yes, I found that too! In fact, the past couple days she has been shedding a lot as well. I also noticed dandruff!Since coming back from the vets Mas has been moulting terribly... I spoke to the vet about it and he said it’s likely due to the stress and being unwell.
So just groomed him.
Next time I will do it in the garden!

It's stress and sickness. Doug lost loads when he was particularly stressed and ill and often at the vets. In the end I used to take a brush to the vets and do a quick collection

Some medication will give this too! Finn had an allergic reaction when he was little and got antihistamine. After that he lost so much hair that he almost got bald....

Just back from the vets - has gone from 27kg before all this started, down to 25.8kg on Monday.
Today was 26.1 so in the right direction!
