I'm equally impressed that the tiny white car could pull anything out of a ditch, let alone another car. My roller skate TARDIS would have just said, "Meh!" and went to have a nice rest in the shade!
Your Tardis is the sensible one, why risk a clutch?! But actually it was the other way round - the little white job had been nose down in the culvert (you can see a modicum of mud splatter round the front) and I pulled it out with my trusty Skoda diesel.
