Vet tomorrow I think.

Pleased to hear the young vet was so good with her, he sounds pretty competent. It's always a bonus having a plan to work with, helps you know where you are! (doing housework by the sounds of things :)).

I guess we all pull muscles. Somehow we worry it’s the worst in our dogs—like elbow dysplasia. My husband says I always think it’s the endgame. I’m so pleased the vet wasn’t too worried. I hope GGJ feels better soon.

That seems a reasonable prognosis, one of the reasons I have not encouraged Rourke to play, they can get hurt. I am sorry she is hurting, the Rimadyl will help.

I know you like cooking, so how about some cooking for the freezer instead of housework :)
That would have been my choice too, but I'd have to do a lot of eating first as the freezer is currently full to bursting! I might make some pickles and things though.

Glad all went well at the vets. Sure it won't be long and Joy be back to her normal self. Not sure about you though if you have to do a weeks worth of housework. Does that mean you don't need to do any for 6months?

Looks like I'm in for a week of housework. :scared:
Ugh, housework.

It is very hard when you can't go for your normal walks. Maxx didn't understand at all and was very frustrated and doing naughty things to let us know. We played LOTS of games which helped but he wanted to go out and sniff and see his friends. However it was worth it as it his limp has completely gone

I hope GGJ gets better really soon

Really glad to read that the vet visit went so well and that it's likely a pulled muscle. GGJ is pretty darn smart to have her human carry her home in that case: wouldn't we all like to have such treatment. 😉

Hope your quiet week goes well. Don't YOU pull a muscle with too much housework or Joy will have to buck up and carry you. Then you'll both be in a pickle!

Sounds like Joy will be fine thank goodness, especially with her extra tasty lovely medication.

Forget housework though, what about teaching Joy something new instead, have you written out your Christmas cards yet? There must be something apart from cleaning |(
