Yup, it's a red fox. Although the red foxes here tend to be grey rather than red, just to confuse you. And they are far larger than the ones I've seen in the UK, at least as tall as the Labs. This one is a female - I've seen her squat to wee!

It will likely be the week before Christmas, like last year. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends again, as we don't have any social life at all when we're here, but it's certainly a lot easier with the dogs here. And, to be honest, I'm not really "feeling it" in terms of skiing this year, so I'm not in any rush. However, winters here are pretty miserable from what I can gather, and the Labs do adore the snow!

Poor Foxy has to eat, too, otherwise she'll starve! She's moved back into what was an abandoned sett in one of our fields. I'm hoping next year we might see cubs
