Hello again everyone and thanks for the great welcome and especially to those of you who battled to find me. It's not an easy time, of course but I am lucky enough to be incredibly well looked after by Trevor's family, also mine, also so very many friends (to know him was to love him, as someone said, so there's lots of those) and also by the Fire Service, which was a massive part of his life for 30 years. The local dog walking community are all being lovely and now I've got all of you back too. Last, and not by any means least is my dear sweet little Joy, who despite her confusion at this big change in her young life seems to show an understanding, licks my tears, makes me laugh, ensures I get up and go in the morning and forces me to leave the pub if I've been there for an hour! I know I'm going to be alright, it's just the getting there. In the meantime, whilst I absolutely love and welcome your support, please don't treat me with kid gloves, I'm still the same old me.
