This is what Chewie did at my parent's house! He is used to everyone being downstairs and he wasn't sure how to signal to go out of their place, so he went to the furthest point away from "where people sit" which... Unfortunately for them was their bedroom!

It was right before he got sick too, so maybe he was feeling a bit off already.

Simple Solution applied, pong gone, the Pongster back to his usual self and no apparent inclination to start coming upstairs at night. I'm waiting for him to post on the kennel club thread to get his opinion on it all, it must have been most weird for him.
