Two hot air balloons have just flew over our house

No they kept going, but when I shouted hello to them they called back and waved. It was lovely thing to see when walking the dogs.

Many years ago when we were social and general secretary for our local Horticultural Society, we hired a hot air balloon and used our friends field to take off in. iIt’s amazing what you see but also hear from below. We had people calling up to us and you could really hear dogs barking. We landed in a field about 8 miles away and had champagne. Our president and his wife were in their eighties and it was lovely to see how happy they were that evening. It was a surreal experience

How brave to go up in a hot air balloon, but a superb experience. I treated Mike to a ride in one for his birthday years ago. I wanted to wave him off but he went and arranged the time etc without telling me, I was so disappointed.

After school swims

It was 30 degrees today, which felt soooooooo hot as it was the first time we hit 30 this spring. The pool is also sitting at a toasty 30 degrees so the pool is getting a lot of use l already this season.

Maxx won't get in the pool but he absolutely insists on coming up with us every single time to watch over us. If one of us dives under the water he stands up and paces with a very concerned look on his face
