The ones on the black bag look like boletus most of which are edible. We have loads in the garden\forest. Go to amazon and buy the Roger Phillips mushroom book if you are concerned.

I was going to say they look like Ceps, which is the same thing. Yumm.

Thanks, @Snowy and Sue. If so, I possibly didn't need to put them through the trip to the vet... but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
