We’ve got Jambo, my mum’s 8 yr old lab staying with us. He’s a sweet boy, very gentle and placid. A couple of weeks ago he ran into a stick and mullered it into his chest - they went to the vet, it didn’t seem to break skin but left a huge lump and clearly some muscle damage. We took him to the vet again yesterday as he’s a bit noddy on that side and limping towards the end of the day - she gave him anti inflammatories and said a week without walks. This morning he had zoomies round the garden for the first time in a long time - Kipper was delighted! It made me smile that he’s feeling so much better.

Glad he's feeling so much better. I think muscles can take a long time to recover completely, poor boy.

We were in the Home Depot in Palm Desert and I saw this sweet boy, carrying his hooman’s purse. She was trying to get him to come to me as I videoed but he got distracted

Jambo jumped clean over a baby gate this morning to get to me hoovering (doesn’t like Hoovers ). Definitely feeling more sprightly!
