The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

Not sure about Wales
Wales I think is in between England and Ireland, well yes , doh :) Both geographically and in terms of traffic, although it is increasing. I don't know about Scotland.

Last time I drove across Ireland, west from Dublin, I felt like everyone knew something I didn't and there was a reason they weren't on the motorway, but of course the penny dropped eventually. Just no traffic!

Well, I went and did it: just bought plane tickets BACK to San Francisco for November. I won't tell my Dad for a bit, but frankly I just couldn't imagine swanning around Italy in the TARDIS when bad things are happening in California. If it turns out it's all a huge misunderstanding and Donna is out dancing her heart out (her usual occupation) instead of in the hospital by then - well, it's a great chance to start getting rid of my worldly belongings in California and Carbon can have more quality Cookie Man time.

On the bright side, I will be so much less stressed than our last flight out of Munich. Both Carbon and I know the score. I've also got two non-stop flights this time as I know he does much better on those. He really should have his own frequent flyer number, don't you think? :sneaky:

Loved that travelogue! “Travels with my dog”. I had no idea what Ireland looked like and your video was a perfect introduction.

Do you pay extra for a service dog? If yes, then definitely he should have his own frequent flyer number!

I really hope your dad’s partner has the best results and that she can continue her dancing!

Glad you liked it. Now we need some SA photos/video as your part of the world seems very exotic to me.

No, he flies free - so just a joke about his own FF card. :)

Dear Carbon, is there a dog on earth who has clocked up more mileage ?
Well, Brogan did...but as he's no longer on earth, I guess Carbon can take up the crown!

Pleased to read about Donna, I did wonder if there was a mistake?
Sorry, I was a little unclear - I haven't actually spoken to my father again so I don't know more about her condition. I'm just HOPING that she's up dancing by the time I get there. I'd be very happy if it was all mistake and won't mind at all buying the ticket for a non-emergency.
