The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

Tonight's entry will be a bit sparse as we've had a confab night in with @RosieC as Carbon and I are headed north to Dingle tomorrow. However I'm determined to keep my streak going, so here are some photos from today...and from California. How's that for multi-continental?

Echoing everyone else - your papa looks very fit, and Carbóncito’s Blue Steel is absolutely outstanding :D He owns that car xxx
I'd dragged him to my storage unit to check on my worldly belongings (see photo below). Poor Carbon was bored out of his mind and ready to get back 'home' to Cookie Man (my dad). This was his "Won't you hurry up already?" pose (crossed paws) and I snapped it thinking that despite himself he was really doing his best Blue Steel. Poor dog can't get a moment's peace. :ROFLMAO:

For a relatively short drive of three hours, I am completely down for the count after leaving @RosieC 's place in Kinsale and arriving at our little holiday rental annex in Dingle. In true Irish style, the weather alternated between brilliant sunshine and blinding rain - even a couple rainbows!

I used @snowbunny's GoPro (yes, I still think of it as yours :D ) to film the drive and can't wait to see how it turned out. However I'm smart enough not to delve into it this evening: if I did, I'd be up until 3am since editing stuff is just way too much fun.

Instead, a video inspired by @Boogie 's View from My Chair thread. This is the view from my (or rather the holiday's rental's) desk right now:

Lovely cottage, looks very quiet, perfect.

I have a question re: GoPro. What do you use to upload videos onto Youtube, and how long does it take approximately for a say 1 minute video? I have a fab GoPro, but I had enormous problems uploading any videos more than about 30 seconds! Seem to take HOURS literally..

With my GoPro (7 Black) I Edit with iMovie then save as a file to my desktop before uploading to YouTube via the web browser. It’s quicker and more successful that way than sharing directly to YouTube from iMovie. As for upload speed, we won’t go there because I’m on 3G Internet here in Spain so the upload speed is dire! But even here, a 4 minute video would take about 15 minutes to upload. Back in Andorra, it would be about a minute 😁

I do the same as @snowbunny for the few videos I've edited so far. If I'm just uploading an unedited clip like tonight, I just do it straight from the SD card on my camera. There's no way of saying how long it 'should' take to upload - as Fiona says it depends on your internet speed. Uploading is a different animal from downloading: you may have decent download speeds (for example watching Netflix) but your upload speeds may stink. At my dad's house (in the heart of Silicon Valley, ha ha), it took me 3,5 hours to upload a three minute video! At Mimi's in Reno, it took about 15 minutes. In Germany, it would have taken me less than five minutes. No matter where you are, it helps if you pick times of day that are quieter - so when most people are at work or very late at night are usually better.

@Beanwood - just realised I shouldn't have said your "massive" TV. Made it sound like you have a wall-sized electro-den!

In fact you have a normal-sized TV, it's just that I'm used to seeing everything on my 13" laptop. Anything bigger is "massive" to me.
It does tie in with @snowbunny 's dream tho. I have a mental image of Kate in her crown watching her cinema size television with her 8 labradors, laughing like a baddie.
