What made you smile today?

What made me smile last night was the Labradogs. Our little house here only has one door out, through the kitchen, and J had laid a screed on the floor to take our new flooring, and it was still wet at evening walk time, so we couldn't go out that way.
Instead, he took out the window in the downstairs spare room and made a ramp either side with some sheets of wood. Squidge went up and out without a second thought. Shadow - my all-action hero - ran up one side and leapt off the other. Willow needed a little more building up, so I clambered out and did my"reaaaaadddddyyyyy...... steaaaaaddddyyyyyy.... GO!!!!", to which she walked up the ramp like Bambi on ice, and scuttled down the other side.
Once she was down, she was SO PROUD of herself, got all sorts of giddy, smiling her big wrinkle-nosed toothy grin at me, giving little mini zoomies and generally being a plonker.

They're all so different, these monkeys, but all so special.

We seem to have developed this accidental bedtime routine where we all (Nathan, OH, Ella and I) jump onto Nathan's bed and have a big giggly cuddle before Nathan goes to sleep.

This evening we walked out of the bathroom after brushing Nathan's teeth to find this

Apparently she enjoys our evening giggly cuddles 🙂
I love how they appreciate being included in family life.

Oreo is staying up at work while me and mum are in Germany this weekend. She was such a good girl and lying on her bed when we were all having lunch  “a little angel” as my boss said :inlove:View attachment 11582

Don’t forget to go to a Weihnachts Markt!! We’ve been to Germany last weekend and the people were building them up. It looked so nice, we said to each other that we were a week too early....Enjoy also the Glühwein!
