I didn't get a tree this year as Joy and I will be away for Christmas. Don't think anyone could accuse us of not being festive though! This lovely old house is just made for Christmas and always makes me smile at this time of year.

I cleaned out my huge kitchen corner cupboard which houses all the crockery on top and all the pans below. It had become a right jumble and it's so low down it can be difficult to find things. I bought some plate and pan organisers, and for the first time in ages I've used a saucepan with its proper lid. Happy days

Thankyou! I bought these shiny hanging strips from Lakeland ten years ago or more. They have star shaped perforations and come with tiny gold coloured pegs, so you just hang them up and peg your cards to them, it's really easy. I took a photo but don't know if it's clear enough.

I don't remember seeing them recently, but then I wouldn't be looking as I already have them! I'm sure they'll either have these or something similar.Thank you @Candy, yes photo clear, I have been looking for something like that for years but could never find anything. We don't have a local Lakeland, it was closed, but I will have a look online for next year

No, I've just checked and it looks like they're not doing them now, sorry. However if you look at Amazon and put in Hanging Christmas card holders there are quite a few that do the same sort of thing. xI had a look on Lakeland, but cannot see them
